Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Clinical Director to provide clinical leadership and oversight for our behavioral health clinic. The Clinical Director will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of exceptional clinical services, supervising clinical staff and student interns, and maintaining compliance with all applicable Arizona administrative codes and ethical standards. This role requires a strong leader with excellent clinical skills, a passion for growth, and the ability to adapt to a rapidly changing healthcare environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Clinical Leadership and Supervision:
  • Provide supervision/oversight to licensed therapists, counselors, and interns.
  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
  • Conduct regular clinical case reviews and provide feedback to staff.
  • Address and resolve complex clinical issues and crises.
  • Compliance and Quality Assurance:
  • Ensure compliance with all required Arizona Administrative Codes to maintain facility license.
  • Maintain and establish quality assurance protocols and procedures.
  • Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness.
  • Stay abreast of current best practices and ethical standards in behavioral health.
  • Maintain all licensure requirements.
  • Staff Development and Training:
  • Provide ongoing training and professional development opportunities for clinical staff.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
  • Foster a positive and supportive work environment.
  • Lead team meetings and facilitate effective communication.
  • Provide guidance for student interns and ensure proper supervision and documentation.
  • Program Development and Growth:
  • Identify opportunities for program expansion and development.
  • Contribute to the development of strategic plans and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the administrative team to ensure efficient operation.
  • Adapt to and manage changes in the behavioral health landscape.
  • Clinical Duties
  • Conduct screening and intake appointments as needed
  • Conduct group sessions as needed. 
 

Qualifications:

  • Master's or Doctoral degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field.
  • Current and unrestricted licensure in Arizona (e.g., LPC, LCSW, LMFT, Psychologist).
  • Minimum of 5 years of post-licensure clinical experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in clinical supervision and leadership.
  • Strong knowledge of Arizona Administrative Code requirements
  • Excellent clinical assessment and treatment planning skills.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.   
  • Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
  • Experience with student intern supervision.
Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in program development and implementation.
  • Experience working with diverse populations.
  • Knowledge of managed care and insurance regulations.
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English.
